What is CAT Exam?

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the most prestigious and competitive entrance exams for admission to postgraduate management programs in India. Conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), CAT is the gateway to the IIMs and many other top business schools in the country.

Key Features of CAT:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CAT EXAM

In CAT, no age restriction is there. The applicant should have scored at least 50% in graduation and CAT can also be written by a student in the final year.

Bachelor’s degree from any institute (Recognized by UGC) 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD)
Engineering Degree- B.Tech/ B.E from any university (Recognized by AICTE/MHRD) 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD)

CLAT UG Exam pattern 2024

The CLAT exam in 2024 for undergraduate (UG) course has a simple and clear pattern. CLAT 2024 exam will be conducted offline in pen and paper based mode,giving aspirants two hours to answer 120 Objective type questions. Each question carries one mark, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect . If you don’t know the answer, it’s okay not to answer- there’s no penalty for that.
